Terms of Service

Last updated September 24, 2026

Working draft, pending legal review. This describes how RoboDesk actually operates today. It is being published now for transparency while a full legal review is completed — a few business decisions (marked like this) are still open and may change.

1. The service

RoboDesk's phone line is answered by an automated AI assistant, not a live person, unless you're transferred to staff. The assistant can access your account, send and receive email on your behalf (through your own robodesk.net inbox and, if you choose to link one, your Google account), manage saved devices and calendar entries, and — where you request it — carry out tasks on your behalf, including browsing the web and making purchases.

2. Calls are recorded

Calls to this line, including audio and any related transcripts, are recorded and stored as part of providing and improving the service. By continuing this call, you consent to that recording. Jurisdiction-specific consent wording for two-party-consent states is pending legal review before this section is final.

3. Billing

RoboDesk offers prepaid minute bundles and optional email-credit bundles as described at the time of purchase. Charges apply only when you request a purchase or top-up, unless you've separately opted in to auto-recurring charging. Unused balances do not expire but are non-refundable except where required by law. Pricing may change for future purchases; it does not change the terms of a purchase already made.

4. Your linked Google account

If you choose to link a Google account, RoboDesk accesses your Gmail, Calendar, and Drive only to carry out actions you request during a call, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect your Google account at any time through account settings or directly through Google's own account permissions page. Disconnecting does not delete data already sent or received on your behalf before disconnection.

5. Data retention and third parties

See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, how long we keep it, and which third-party providers (speech-to-text, language-model, email, and payment providers) process it on our behalf. We do not sell your data.

6. Service provided as-is

This service is provided "as is" and "as available." RoboDesk does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that automated actions will always be accurate, or that any specific outcome will result from a request made through the service. You use the service, including any automated purchases or actions taken on your behalf, at your own risk and discretion. You're responsible for reviewing any purchase, message, or action before confirming it where the service offers you that opportunity.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoboDesk's liability for any claim arising from use of this service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months (placeholder default, pending a final business decision) preceding the claim. RoboDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violation of these terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or non-payment, with notice where practicable.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always available at this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
